DocSlim is licensed to you under Apple's standard licence for App Store apps, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The points below are a plain summary of how DocSlim and DocSlim Pro work. If anything here seems to conflict with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins.

DocSlim Pro

DocSlim is free to download. Scanning, turning photos into a PDF, adding pages to a saved PDF and sharing are free. You can also try compression and resizing for free and see the result before you pay. DocSlim Pro unlocks saving those results, plus the PDF compress and merge tools. It comes in two forms:

• Yearly: billed to your Apple ID once a year. It renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel any time in your device's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the year you've paid for.
• Lifetime: a single payment. It never renews, and Pro stays unlocked for as long as the app is available.

Prices are shown in the app before you pay. Apple takes the payment and handles refunds, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Check your form's rules

The presets in DocSlim, like "exam form photo" or "signature 20 KB", are based on common limits. Every form is different, and forms change their rules. Please check the instructions of the form you're filling. DocSlim tries hard to hit the size you ask for, but I can't promise a particular portal will accept a file, and I'm not responsible for a rejected or late application.

Your files are your responsibility

Files you make in DocSlim stay on your device. Keep copies of anything important somewhere else too, because deleting the app or losing the phone loses the files. Only scan and share documents you have the right to use.

The app as it is

I work hard to keep DocSlim reliable, but it's provided as it is, without extra guarantees beyond what the law and Apple's licence give you. Features may change between versions.
