Your files are processed in your browser and are never uploaded.
How to merge PDF files
- Tap Choose files and pick two or more PDFs or photos. You can add more at any time.
- Use the arrows to put the files in order, and give the new PDF a name if you like.
- Tap Merge PDFs, then Download PDF.
When you need to merge PDFs
Many application portals allow only one file per upload. You might need to send all your semester mark sheets as a single document, or put several documents together. Merging the PDFs gives you one file with every page in the right order.
Your pages stay exactly the same
DocSlim copies each page as it is. Text stays sharp and selectable, and nothing is re-scanned or compressed. The merged file is about the same size as all your PDFs added together.
Tips
- Have photos instead of PDFs? Turn them into a PDF first with JPG to PDF.
- You can add photos too. Each photo becomes an A4 page, so you can add pages to an existing PDF.
- If the form has a size limit and the merged PDF is too big, use Compress PDF to get it under the limit.
Frequently asked questions
How many PDFs can I merge?
There's no fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device's memory, but dozens of normal documents merge without any problem.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Remove the password first, for example by opening the PDF and saving or printing it as a new PDF, then add it here.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. This page works in Chrome or Safari on Android and iPhone. Pick the files from your phone's storage or Files app.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is made inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It's completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many PDFs you make.
